Dr. Ignat Ignatov was born on January 1, 1963 in the town of Teteven. In 1976 descrebes a phenomenon in which little apertures act like optic lenses. In 1989 he majored in physics from “Kliment Ohridski” Sofia University and in the same year he began his professional work in the sphere of medical biophysics. In 1996 he founded the Scientific and Research Center of Medical Biophysics (SRCMB) of which he is also an owner. He is the co-author of a research for the biotreatment of ophthalmic diseases. Ass. Prof. Parashkeva Tzaneva, MD is the consultant ophthalmologist. He is also the co-author of a study for distant registration of biophysical fields. The methods developed by Prof. Anton Antonov, DPhSc laid the foundation for these studies. Dr. Ignat Ignatov is the author of 10 books. The scientific analyses are published in the book “Medical Biophysics – Biophysical Fields of Man” by Dr. Ignat Ignatov, Anton Antonov and Tatyana Galabova. In 2003 the authors’ team and Stoyan Stoyanov were awarded with the world prize in alternative medicine and biophysics – the Swiss Prize 2003. The chairman of the committee was Dr. Teo Locher and the prize is number 36. The Swiss Prize 2003 nomination was presented by Prof. Alex Schneider, DPhSc, president of the Basel Congress for Spiritual Healing.

SRCMB was awarded the prize:

“As an acknowledgement for your biophysical research, which proves, that an uncharacteristic energy form can be transferred from one person to another. The physical measurements of different biotheraeutists demonstrate that their healing abilities can be quantitatively characterized.”

During the same year Dr. Ignat Ignatov was awarded the world prize in alternative medicine and biophysics – Vernadski’s prize 2003. The chairman of the committee was Prof. Jacob Galperin, DPhSc. The prize was awarded “for exceptional achievements and innovation works in the sphere of energy and information sciences”. Dr. Ignat Ignatov is the holder of a “Diploma for Exceptional Merits in the Development of People’s Medicine in Russia”. Both prizes also carry the number 36. The program and the presentation of the SRCMB results in Russia are organized by Prof. Alexander Dubrov. DPhSc.

Dr. Ignat Ignatov is a holder of Chizhevski's Prize 2005. Chizevski's Prize is awarded for achievements in the field of inventing and using devices in alternative medicine. Dr. Ignatov received this Prize about bioresonance researches, published in the book "Energy Biomedicine".

The name of Dr. Ignat Ignatov is included in the Bibliographic centre of the Cambridge University.

Dr. Ignat Ignatov represents the EUHEALS project in Bulgaria in which 20 European countries take part. The project is headed by Dr. Harald Wiesendanger (Germany).

The head of SRCMB is a consultant at the National Centre for Public Health – Ministry of Health with director Prof. Miroslav Popov, DPhSc.

Dr. Ignat Ignatov partakes in the work of congresses and has publications in Germany, Switzerland, Russia, USA, Czech Republic etc.
